Costume designer Janie Bryant’s vision of glamour has made its way into American televisions—and hearts—via the award-nabbing AMC series Mad Men for which Bryant oversees wardrobe. Thanks to Bryant’s discerning eye, the impeccable polish of ’60s ladylike dressing has now arrived in a hardcore way both down the runways and into modern closets. No surprise that Bryant is a woman of many aesthetic passions and, of course, a few habits both old-school and thoroughly new-school.

Workaholism.
What’s your naughtiest habit?
Crystal, sterling and china. It’s that naughty love of wining and dining.
